but it's the mission music that really compliments the action perfectly. The whole presentation is well done actually, and the selection of music on the radio stations is great too. It also surprises me how well made these cut-scenes are, for a game that embraces the silly so much. And there's something about seeing these crazy characters in cutscenes that not only makes this a very individual experience - but it just makes the main character seem even more insane then he already is. It's quite an achievement that all of these clothes fit so well, with no clipping on all body types we tried.
I seriously worry about your costume choices, Bajo. Once you've created a weird custom character, you can even visit various clothes stores around the city to make your character even more ridiculous. It's endlessly funny that everyone else can understand him, even though it's just groaning. It made me laugh every time he/she/it spoke. Most of our favourite voices are back from Saints Row 2, with one notable addition - the zombie. There are also a stack of voices to choose from for your character. skinny and fat sliders, skin colours that include metallic yellow and green. There's an almost endless supply of facial tweaks, from eyelids to reptilian makeup. My character ended up as a like a strangely attractive, Russian Alice Cooper fan in a suit. One of the biggest differences between the two franchises, is that here you get to live out your wildest character customisation dreams - which I always appreciate. it's more of an absurdist parody of the GTA games. Hex, when I first brought up that world map, the art design and music instantly made me think of Grand Theft Auto IV - it's pretty much copyright infringement! But Saints Row isn't a realistic gritty sandbox where you pay bridge tolls and go bowling. This is an industrial city with big skyscrapers, factories. A bank heist goes wrong, and you find yourself fighting rival gangs and a military force (who have lasers) in a brand new city - Steelport. Billboards are everywhere, they have their own energy drink, and people stop them in the street for autographs even in the midst of battle.īut it's not easy being at the top, it just makes you a bigger target.
